QUESTIONS

What should I wear?

We can't wait to celebrate with you! To ensure you're comfortable and can fully enjoy our special day, we wanted to share two notes regarding the attire for the event.

Given the potential for cooler temperatures, we recommend selecting attire that offers both elegance and warmth.  We suggest considering an extra layer or warmer fabrics, as the weather can be unpredictable.

While we'd love for you to dress in your finest, we kindly suggest you choose your footwear with stability in mind. Block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy boots would be excellent choices, allowing you to navigate the charming stone paths with ease. Stilettos or very thin heels might prove challenging on the uneven surfaces.

What is the weather like during this time of year in New Mexico?

Mid-November in Albuquerque generally brings cool, crisp, and sunny weather, with temperatures starting to feel distinctly like fall transitioning into winter.

Here's a breakdown of what to expect:

  • Temperatures:

    • Daytime highs: Typically average around 57-58°F (14-15°C). While pleasant, it can feel a bit breezy.

    • Nighttime lows: Average around 32-35°F (0-2°C). Nights will be chilly and often dip to or just below freezing.

  • Sunshine: Albuquerque is known for its abundant sunshine, and November is no exception. You can expect plenty of clear, sunny days.

  • Precipitation: It's generally a dry month. The chance of rain or snow is relatively low (around 9%), and any precipitation is usually light. The average date for the first snowfall in Albuquerque is typically around November 30th, so you might see some very light flurries towards the end of the month, but significant snow is uncommon at lower elevations.

  • Humidity: The air remains quite dry in November, so even cooler temperatures can feel more comfortable than in humid climates.

  • Wind: It can be breezy in November, which can make the temperatures feel cooler than they actually are.

You'll definitely want to layer up. Think:

  • Sweaters and long-sleeved shirts

  • A warm jacket or coat (especially for evenings)

  • Scarves and maybe gloves for the early mornings and evenings

  • Comfortable shoes for walking, as you'll likely be enjoying the sunny days.

Overall, mid-November in Albuquerque offers beautiful, clear skies and comfortable daytime temperatures for exploring, but be prepared for chilly evenings and mornings.
